GTA 5 Release Date Mid or Late 2012? Preorders Now Up
You can now preorder GTA 5 and some retailers hint at a Mid 2012 release date. However, because another Rockstar Games game is coming out in 2012, we are expecting that GTA 5 will not be released until late 2012.
The other Rockstar game is Max Payne 3. If they want to avoid market saturation they might stall the release until the end of 2012. On the other hand, November 2012 is likely to see the annually Call of Duty release and of course there will be other games coming. THQ is going to announce a core game later this month as well that might be released in 2012. So, it’s theoretically possible that Rockstar Games might favor a mid 2012 release, but it is very unlikely.
GTA 4 was released a year after the intial announcement, so we assume the same will happen here and GTA 5 will be released in October 2012 or November 2012.
