Here’s the supposedly very first screenshot of Everquest 3, successor of the highly successful Everquest and Everquest 2. Doesn’t reveal much, but I suppose they might reveal more of the game soon. Hopefully, it will be like Guild Wars 2.

Sony revealed that Everquest 3 will have a tighter focus on PvP. I’ve never tried Everquest myself, but more PvP sounds great. Seasoned MMO-players will be tired of the grind by now and will mainly be interested in PvP. Sony should definitely do it like Bioware – an epic story, maybe even fully-voiced à la Guild Wars 2, that you can enjoy with others and lots of PvP in a balanced open-world gaming environment with tons of stuff to explore.
