Firefox 3.6 Beta 1 has been released. This beta build integrates some of the Windows 7 features into firefox.The Windows 7 taskbar will allow you to preview any firefox tabs that are currently open.

Aside from that Firefox 3.6.1 allows you to change your firefox theme with a single click. So called “personas” are pre-defined themes for firefox. You can even create your very own themes for firefox.

Switching between tabs

Another great Firefox 3.6 Beta 1 feature are visual previews that allow you to switch between tabs more easily. You can quickly switch between tabs with STRG+Tab. In Firefox 3.5 Beta 1 you will also get visual previews for every tab.

By default this feature is disabled. To enable this feature, do this:

1. Enter about:config into the address bar.
2. Search for “browser.ctrlTab.previews
3. Double-click on the entry and set the value to true.
