Epic: Skyrim Rainmeter Skin Suite For Windows


Example Skyrim Skin On Windows 7 Pc_thumb2 You’re a Skyrim geek? Well, if you want the complete Skyrim experience on your desktop, you better download this Skyrim Skin Suite!

Important: Before installing this theme, make sure Rainmeter is installed on your Windows 7 PC

1. Head over to http://axerron.deviantart.com/ and download the skyrim_rainmeter_suite_v2 (mirror)

2. Open the RAR file with WinRAR and double click the file TES_V_Skyrim_Suite_v2.rmskin

3. If Rainmeter has been correctly installed, you should now see this:

4. Click Install

5. Double-click on the Rainmeter tray icon

6. Now you should see a list of folders that you can uncollapse. Uncollapse Horizontal Sidebar and click the button Load. Click on the black bar, hold the left mouse button and drag the bar to the bottom of your screen.

7. Repeat step 6 for the folders Battery Bar, Clock, CPU Bar, Date and Time and HDD Bar. The name of the .ini file indicates the type. For example “Date and Time” has 4 ini files with different styles!

8. Now you should have the black bar at the bottom and some cool Skyrim widgets somewhere on your screen

9. Drag the elements onto the black bar. The final result looks like this:

10. You can add more elements e.g. PC Uptime, the App Launcher and the Music Player

11. As the widget says use the Middle-mouse button to click on the widget and modify the Variables.txt:

App2Name="There!"
App2Path=::{450D8FBA-AD25-11D0-98A8-0800361B1103}

App3Name="Middle"

Replace the AppPath with a path or shell command

12. Here is my modified code:


App1Name="Portal 2"
App1Path=D:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\portal 2\portal2.exe

App2Name="Far Cry 3"
App2Path=D:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Far Cry 3\bin\farcry3.exe

App3Name="Skyrim"
App3Path=D:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\skyrim\SkyrimLauncher.exe

App4Name="Black Ops 2 Multiplayer"
App4Path=D:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Call of Duty Black Ops II\t6mp.exe

 

Important: For App5Path and App5Name and the 5 other items, simply enter two empty quotes like this:


App5Name=
App5Path=
App6Name=
App6Path=
App7Name=
App7Path=

13. Hit CTRL + S to save the txt file and then reload the widget

Refresh Skin
