About The GodMode
It is more or less a super-control panel area where you can tweak any part of the OS. However, you can also use the Godmode shortcuts to create shortcuts to the most basic Windows 8 features e.g. changing power plans, adding biometric devices or storing credentials. As you can see, the Godmode is a very handy feature.

Create “Ultimate” GodMode With ALL Functions
Creating the GodMode panel on Windows 8 is as simple as it was on Windows 7. All you need is the correct text string to trigger it. For Windows 8, the procedure is as follows: -
1. Create a new folder on the Windows 8 desktop and name it
“GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}”
without the quote marks.
2. A control panel icon appears on the desktop with the name GodMode.
This is one of the many features that are now being discovered within Windows 8. Smaller UI features are also being constantly discovered. For example, you can have both the Metro style screen and the desktop view side by side on your display by hovering over on the right side edge of the screen or dragging on it. This also allows for a quick switch between the desktop view and the Metro view.
