When do you think will World of Warcraft Cataclysm come out? Blizzard released a lot of information about the WoW expension, but we still don’t know when it will hit the shelves. Here are some release date speculations.
WoW Cataclysm Release Date: Summer or Winter 2010?
Hopefully we can get some more info about a release date at the E3 2010. If Blizzard is going for an early release date, they will release the third WoW expansion in July or August. Otherwise it will come out in November 2010 before the holiday season.
On twitter some WoW fans were having fun and released some faked pictures of a WoW Cataclysm DVD. So, don’t believe the rumors that a beta release of WoW Cataclysm is close, although it would be great because that would mean that Blizzard would indeed go for a release this summer.
WoW Cataclysm Alpha Release = Fake
The news made international headlines and many people thought that a WoW Cataclysm alpha had been sent out.
Sources say Cata Alpha F&F build is being burned to CD on Monday 11th January to be distributed in signature signed form on Tuesday
Twitter shutdown the account “wowleak” by now or the user has removed the account on his behalf.
WoW Cataclysm Raids, Dungeons, Cities
It has been confirmed that WoW Cataclysm will not introduce any “sanctuary” capital cities, so there is not going to be a Shattrath or Dalaran, but we can expect many of the current cities to get a complete make-over.
Eight 5-players instances and 4 new battlegrounds, as well as two new heroic instances are planned for WoW Cataclysm.
One of the new battlegrounds will be Tol Barad:
Tol Barad is a brand new battleground which will have features similar to those found in both Wintergrasp and the Isle of Quel’Danas. When battle mode is active, the contest will be similar to WIntergrasp with PvP fights, vehicles and destructible buildings. When battles are not in progress, Tol Barad becomes a daily quest hub like the Isle of Quel’Danas. The faction that wins the battle in Tol Barad will not only get Tol Barad marks of honor, but also will get access to bonus daily quests and special bosses.
