It looks like Microsoft is also keen on adding new innovative customization features to Windows 8. One such a feature will change the color of Windows 8 Aero themes based on the wallpaper color. Let’s see how that works.
Customizing Windows 7 doesn’t take a lot of time and changing the color of the Windows 7 taskbar only takes a couple seconds. Still, if you have a large collection of wallpapers you don’t always want to adjust the color of your taskbar to match the color of your desktop wallpapers… that’s where Windows 8 becomes really smart, it will adjust the color of your Windows 8 Aero theme based on the color of your wallpaper. Windows 8 will analyze the color of your new wallpaper and figure out what color would fit nicely.
Let’s say you have a desktop wallpaper with pink-colored flowers on your Windows 8 PC and Aero is activated, then Windows 8 will change the color of your Aero theme automatically to fit the “main” color of your desktop wallpaper – smart, eh?
I’d say this is a pretty awesome Windows 8 feature and I hope that they add more “smart” features that will automatically configure your PC for you.
If they would finally add support 3rd-party Windows 8 themes that would also be really awesome, but I don’t see it happening.
