Highlights Of Announcement

The amount of data in the announcement could last a while, but the highlights are great for companies who use Cisco and Microsoft. Now, converged ACI stacks will be available that have fully integrated versions of Windows Server 2012 R2 Hyper-V, System Center 2012 R2, SQL Server, Exchange and SharePoint. The ability to have these stacks and versions ready to go for the enterprise will make it easier to deploy projects and applications quickly.

Also, optimized application and workload performance through dynamic network policies that automate and simplify deployment will be available. Management of deep visibility projects across Cisco, System Center, and Windows Server 2012 R2 virtual and non-virtual environments will also be available via this announcement. As Windows Server 2012 R2 is becoming more and more prevalent in the enterprise, this is a bold move by the two companies.
