The Windows 10 Insider program is proving to give users a number of updated versions of the upcoming Windows 10, and its frequent updates have pleased testers. On Friday, Microsoft dropped the latest build, and this one is a major update, especially with the newest addition: a Cortana keyboard.
This latest Windows 10 Preview Build is part of the Windows 10 Insider Program, and is labeled Build 10130. The build features a new improvements to the Windows 10 overall beta, but the addition of the Cortana keyboard will certainly please users, and its available to start testing today.
Cortana Keyboard Shortcuts & More
With this latest build of Windows 10, Microsoft has made it possible to press the Win Key and then the C on the keyboard, and there pops up Cortana. This is a major update to the Windows 10 operating system, and makes Cortana a lot easier to use. Now, a Win and C gives users Cortana on demand with Windows 10.
The latest Windows 10 build also features the new Microsoft Edge Browser, and users are able to pin and unpin Cortana as they wish. The other feature included for users, is the standardized around one view for the Taskbar feature in virtual desktops. This makes is easier to use with virtual desktops for users.
With the Windows 10 BUild 10130, users will also more contemporary icons that were not included in previous builds. Also, it gives users the ability to watch videos in full screen in the TV and Movies app on Windows 10. For those looking to test out the video capability of Windows 10, this is a major update.
It does feature a number of bugs though, and those are noted to Microsoft in their updated blog. The mail app can crash often, and Wi-Fi Connectivity isn’t the greatest. It is known to go away at times, and Microsoft is suggesting users reboot when that happens. It is still a beta after all.
