Macros are not activated by default in Office 2010 (Word 2010, Excel 2010, PowerPoint 2010, etc) for more security. Enabling Macros is quit easy, the setting can be found within the Excel options.
(1) Left click on the File Menu (Office Backstage) and choose Options from the left sidebar. Under Options, choose Trust Center on the left sidebar and click on the Trust Center Settings button in the right pane.
(2) Within the Trust Center Settings dialog window, choose Macro Settings on the left sidebar, then choose the option Enable All Macros and click OK.
(3) Activate macros in Word 2010, PowerPoint 2010, Outlook 2010 following the instructions above
