Oculus Rift SDK’s will ship later this year, as early as March 2013 – that’s when we expect more games will support it.
The Oculus Rift will also be for sale later this year after initial tests. Hopefully, they will be able to fix the latency problems and various other problems of the headsets. By now, they have found a way to make it more comfortable for those wearing glasses and they’re making a lot of progress on integrating the Rift into the Unity and Unreal Engine 3. Demo below:
