Last week we featured two Indie games on our site. Here are two more games that should be on your watchlist
Great Score, Visual and Story: Ori And The Blind Forest, Xbox One/PC Exclusive
Ori and the Blind Forest by Indie developer Moon Studios is really an incredible piece of art. If you like games with great storytelling, very nice visuals and an amazing score, this game is for you. The platform adventure is a great fit for all audiences from young to old and seems like a lot of fun. If you’re into games such as Trine, this could be a great Xbox One title to get. It’s likely the game will also come to Steam or another digital platform.
Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture: From The Makers Of Dear Esther, PS4 Exclusive
Santa Monica based SCE and British Indie studio “The Chinese Room” founded in 2007 are bringing you Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture. Again, I was immensely impressed by the soundtrack. For an Indie game this is really outstanding. The trailer is really short but from what you can see it really looks amazing. If you wanted Dear Esther to have interactive gameplay elements, Raptor is definitely for you. Set in an apocalyptic world this game will focus on 6 characters and their story. The game will be released in 2015 on PS4 only:
