    luoej, look into this folder:
    C:\Users\[yourusername]\Documents\My Games\FINAL FANTASY XIV Beta Version\downloads\ffxiv-beta\d96437e6\patch

This is the folder where the patches are stored. You will exactly know which patch you still have to download. You will need all patches in order to start the game.

    Hope this helps, Oliver

download all the hotfile files via Jdownloader.. it’s a 4.5GB large game client, so it will take a while. And yes, you will need all if you don’t want to download the client via the beta launcher.

i dont think jdownloader is workin for me
    it always says “Reconnection failed”
anybody know how to solve this?

  9. Orange Community Approved Comment:
    sOliver said:

Tears, first of try to restart the system. Then if you still get the error press F5 to open the error log. Still can’t find the error? Make sure that you added the premium account correctly (if you are using one). Possibly a firewall is or your router is blocking something that is causing the reconnect to fail.

I can upload the patches and client somewhere else if necessary, but this might take some time. Let me know.

The H2010.08.30.2000.patch is stuck for me. I torrented it after I downloaded the ff14 client, after reloading it and it downloading the version update with this patch title, it gets to 99.5% very quickly (because i already have the files in the correct patch folder) then just stops….. once in awhile the downloader shoots up its DL speed, but the % does not move and it falls back to 0.0% . Anyone know whats wrong here?

Once again if you can’t download the patches via the installer, you will have to forward your ports:
    55296 – 55551
    UDP and TCP

Other than that you can download all patches above.

    Also, open the following folders:

    C:\Users\[username]\Documents\My Games\FINAL FANTASY XIV Beta Version\downloads\ffxiv-beta\d96437e6\metainfo

    C:\Users\[username]\Documents\My Games\FINAL FANTASY XIV Beta Version\downloads\ffxiv-beta\bca2a8ae\metainfo

They will contain .torrent files which you can download with a program like uTorrent.
