Disable Windows 8 Startup Apps Right From Task Manager

In Windows 8 you will be able to disable startup apps right from the task manager.

Disable Windows 8 Startup Apps

In Windows 7 you had the possibility to disable startup applications from the msconfig.exe configuration tool. In the upcoming Windows 8 you can do this right from the task manager.

  • 1. Open the task manager
  • 2. Go to the tab Startup and it will give you a list of all startup applications
  • 3. Select all apps that you want to disable
  • 4. Click on Disable and you’re done

The revamp of Windows 8 task manager is quite nice and will simplify things.
