does your software recover files erased after a system recovery? My computer is HP Pavilion and has Vista. We were trying to attempt a system restore and did system recovery instead. Can your software help?

Anything deleted remains there but your machine will treat it as free space to write to so you want to avoid saving anything to disc. I personally would use something like a bootable usb or cd/dvd with something like hirens so you can just boot from that cd or usb and recover the data on the drive with damn small linux, recuva, etc as hirens has at least 20 recovery tools or boot fixes.
