Here are 3 new and important features in the new Windows 8 operating system that you should know about as a future user.
3 New Windows 8 Features
There are several new things in Windows 8 that deserve special attention. Here are 3 of those features explained for easy reference.
This is something that has been missing from Windows for a long time. It is a built in reader that opens and allows some functionality around PDF files. You can highlight paragraphs inside the PDF files and also make notes using a stylus and a tablet.
Live Cloud Syncing
Everything in Windows 8 is tied to your Live account (if you allow it to be that is). You can opt out of it but by default your Windows 8 system is configured to sync everything with your Live account. It starts from your customizations like wallpaper and other UI related features and goes on to cover the apps that you have purchased from the Windows Store and also your documents and files. Third party Apps can also plug in to this feature using SkyDrive and store your preferences and files. This allows you to access these files from anywhere. And whenever your log in to a Windows 8 system using your Live ID, all your personalization is reflected on the new system.
Windows 8 On A Stick
One of the most useful features of Windows 8 is the ability to put it on a USB stick and take it anywhere you want. Windows To Go is compatible with any computer that is capable of running Windows 7 or Windows 8. These are images of your Windows System that encompass your entire Windows 8 environment. So no matter where you are, your system is with you. And enterprise/business users can also use it because the images can be controlled by the IT admin using Windows Server.
