DX11 coming for Vista/Windows7 + Screenshots

Yay, this might be good news for Vista-users! DX11 will not only be delievered with Windows7, but will also come for Vista (Source). Fortunately Windows7 will be fully backwards-compatible to Vista and will make upgrading Vista very easy. Let’s take a closer look on DX11!

We have seen it before, extremly well looking CG screenshots that are really close to photo realism. Of course you have to keep in mind that those are screenshots that needed a couple of hours before they were rendered completely, but it is always a pleasure to see what is possible today! DX11 the future is yours :)

Let’s take a step back, this development is almost scary! In just about 26 years we jumped from a C64 2D graphic to this! Holography is about to become more common. The world is indeed changing very fast.

Thanks to ToTTenTranz from xtremesystems.org for posting those screens!
