Are you bored of the daily grind in WoW? Why not try another MMO, one you don’t even have to pay for. Turbine revised their MMO and it’s now FREE to play for everyone. Here are some impressions of Dungeons & Dragons Online.

Published by Atari and Codemaster, Dungeons & Dragons online was originally called Dungeons & Dragons Online: Stormreach. Dungeons & Dragons Online starts like any other MMORPG, you create your avatar and you’re ready to roll. Gain enough XP by completing quests that you receive from NPCs and you gain a level – the current level limit of DDO is 20.

The world of Dungeons & Dragons Online is called Eberron, a campaign that D&D players will probably know. Yep, Dungeons & Dragons Online is a MMORPG based on the 1974 table game:

Although the game is and will always be free, you can (if you want) pay a subscription fee and get VIP status. VIP’s get rewards every month. Players can also become a “Premium player” if they buy something from the DDO shop (just once and you gain premium status) and will also receive some rewards. Considering that this fee is optional and you normally would have to pay $15 per month (for a WoW subscription) it’s probably a good idea to keep the game free.

Hey I was wondering if you have an actual DDO theme for Windows 7. I’ve been looking for one but can find it nowhere.
