The first pictures reveal the main hero (yes, there will be companions but you will only control 1 character in Dungeon Siege 3) and some of the creatures that you will have to confront in DS3:

Especially, the last picture is very promising. Looks like we will have some exciting fights in dark dungeons ahead of us!

Coop mode but no PVP

Dungeon Siege 3 will feature a coop mode, however Taylor has confirmed that there will be no PvP at all. The game will be not as linear as Dungeon Siege 2, but it will also not be an entirely open world. You will be able to travel to most places at any time, only few places will be “closed forever”. Taylor also revealed that in Dungeon Siege 3 your good and bad choices will have consequences on the storyline (almost a mandatory for modern RPGs).

Dungeon Siege 3 is scheduled for a release in 2011. It will be coming for PC, PS3 and XBOX360.
