Download Windows 8 Transformation Pack 2

If you want to transform Windows 7 into Windows 8, you need to give the Windows 8 Transformation Pack a try. The pack has been updated now. Let’s take a look at the changes.

First, the transformation pack now includes the user icon on the taskbar (the new user tile with additional links and information)

Next, a very cool Start orb is now part of the transformation pack. The caption buttons closely resemble the look of Windows 8 now and the back/forward buttons are definitely smoking hot.

Basic Windows 8 Transformation Pack

Hamed put a lot of work into this Windows 8 transformation pack and now provides a light basic version of his transformation pack. The basic version makes the Windows 8 style look so very elegant, but of course it’s only useful for laptops:

The pack also includes the Windows 7 logon screen and a Windows 8 boot screen. Boot screens are rather complicated to install in Windows 7, so I’ll write a tutorial on that shortly.
