Nonetheless, should you get the error Final Fantasy XIV has stopped working when you try to start client thenread this guide to fix it, this worked very well for me.
Full Game Client
The full game client will be released later this month and will be posted here. The release client will be available for everyone, but you still need an account key to log into FF14.

After downloading the full client, you might want to download the patches for Final Fantasy XIV manually, because downloading them via the launcher might be a problem for some right now.

Did you download the patches as well? Copy everything into this folder:
C:\Users\[yourusername]\Documents\My Games\FINAL FANTASY XIV Beta Version\downloads\ffxiv-beta\d96437e6\patch
Then start the launcher (ffxivboot.exe) and it should auto install everything.
Btw, there is a new patch for Final Fantasy 14 that I am downloading/uploading right now.
at moment i download this 23 files this is full client or not? i cann intall this later i have all 23 files or? and then i must download the patches?
That is correct you have to download all 23 files in order to install the Final Fantasy 14 full game client. Should you get a CRC error, please also download the file “part 23″ (posted above).
The recommended way to download the client is Jdownloader and a hotfile premium account (I downloaded the full client which is 4.5GB large in about 15 minutes)
Then download all the patches from the link that I posted and copy them into the folder that I mentioned and launch ffxivboot.exe
i am trying to download patch D2010.09.05.2000 and weather i download myself and put it in the file or not i still get the FFXIV beta version installer red box pop up trying to download the file and it will get to 94.6% and then the download speed goes to 0kbs and thats as far as i can get, can u help me plz :)

I have noticed that myself now and figured it out. The patch D2010.09.05.2000 requires you to copy more files:
1. Download D2010.09.05.2000
2. Extract the files and copy them to the folders bca2a8ae and d96437e6 (C:\Users\[yourusername]\Documents\My Games\FINAL FANTASY XIV Beta Version\downloads\ffxiv-beta\)
Then start the client via ffxivboot.conf
Thank you for this! However, HotFile is a very limited file host. Since your files are exactly 200 MB each, you could upload them to MediaFire, which lets you speed up the downloads with download managers, resume broken downloads and download more than one file at a time. I understand if you don’t want to go through the hassle of uploading them all again, but I, and many others, would appreciate it.
In any case, you’ve saved me a lot of time messing with the default client, so thank you!
I’m not sure what I did wrong but I downloaded all the client files via the links you posted and dropped them in the specified folder. However no matter what I do the updater will not recognize that they are there and keeps trying to download the 8.30.2000 patch. Any suggestions?

If so, look into the metainfo folder and download the patches via torrent (e.g. uTorrent).
I’m having the same problem as VirtualDragoon. I’ve downloaded all the necessary patches into the correct folders and I also downloaded the full game client but it’s still stuck trying to download H2010.08.30.2000.patch.
Do you have the latest patch D2010.09.18.0000? Im trying to update from version 2010.07.10.0000. Also are there any other patches i have to download for this game like FFXI had the POL updates then the FFXI updates? What all files do i need? Can you please point me in the right direction? Im deployed at the moment and id like to play this however im getting angry with the update client. Thanks

I have a problem, surprisingly. I downloaded all of the files and the patches. I installed the game. But i can’t but the patche in to the downloads\ffxiv-beta folder because it doesn’t exist. =/ What should i do, create the folder?
Shinigami, yes if the folder does not exist, simply creat it, but double-check it (see below).
It should exit.. make sure to replace [yourusername] with your actual username, example:
C:\Users\[yourusername]\Documents\My Games\FINAL FANTASY XIV Beta Version\downloads\ffxiv-beta\d96437e6\patch
Hmmmh, it still doesn’t work. =/ When i run the game it says:

i think the problem is that when its searching for upgrades rite before sighning in it doesnt have the cappabilities to serch for them because it cant do it to start with,,, get me? but if you do everything manually it gives the program a chance to actually catch up with its self lol, but i dont know how computers work but its just what i put to gether trying to find a fix for my problem ,,,,but alas im in class and cant do any thing about it untill i get home, its almost like a drug i HAVE to get home and do something to fix it or im gana go but fuck the lady in the electronics section to get my fix
Hi, i want ask some question. after installing, i want to copy the ‘patch’ folder, but i cant find the ‘download’ folder and it subs. so i create that folder with it subs.
after then i run the updater and boots it. but it aborted while checking version. what should i do? thx
