DiRT 3 Car List Features Over 50 Rally Cars
The upcoming rally game, DiRT 3 is going to have a pretty long car list with over 50 rally cars. The game is also having some pretty amazing weather effects and of course top-notch graphics as well.
Dirt 3 Release Date
The first two Dirt games have gone well and Dirt 3 is sure going to do well, it’s set to be released on the 24th of May 2011, which will be a global release across Windows (PC), Xbox 360 and also PS3 platforms. Which is pretty much the “major” consoles, these days there aren’t many other consoles which can keep up with the high standards we expect and Dirt 3 is expected to meet them. As you’ll see in the trailer below, Dirt 3 features Ken Block’s Modified Ford Fiesta, which is the one with the DC stickers all over it.
Like with all game releases, the best way to get an idea of what to expect is to watch the trailer, judging from watching it, it looks like it’s going to be pretty awesome rallying game, the graphics look great in the trailer, the different cars you see all look nice.
New Weather Effects
Something which caught my eye was all of the different types of weather you can race in, the trailer really shows off all of the elements nicely and hopefully so will the game play, changing from snow to sun, warm to wet and what not. Keeps your driving style changing all of the time, obviously driving in the snow is going to be different from driving on dry dirt etc.
When it comes to graphics, I’m pretty impressed with what I’ve seen so far, the car will change according to the weather conditions, it’s one of the those minor things which make the game feel so much more feel, having frost over the windows while driving though the snow etc.
15 different classes
We don’t know too many details about Dirt 3 to be honest, although they’ll be a total of 15 different classes, 9 pure rally classes and 6 which are non rally classes, which will give us a nice range of cars to choose to drive.
All of the screenshots and videos of Dirt 3 I’ve seen look pretty nice, I mean the game play videos are obviously not always going to be very good quality, but from screenshots you can tell there has been a lot of attention to detail with the surroundings, for example the water looks real and the trees look natural and so on.
