Crysis 2 system specs: Too high? Let us know your system specs!
Crysis had some crazy system requirements back then and even today it’s still a resource hog, so what system specs will Crysis 2 require? Will they be too high for your machine?

The fact is that Crytek are promising that the system requirements for Crysis 2 are going to be lower than the Crysis (1) system requirements. How can that be? Crytek found a way to optimize their CryEngine so that it can run much smoother on your system.
They are saying that you will be able to play Crysis 2 if you can already play Crysis on your PC. Let’s take a glance at the predicted system requirements:
Predicted System Requirements:
CPU Requirements: Intel Core 2 Duo 3Ghz or Athlon X2 5800+
Graphic Card: Geforce GTS Series (recommended)
RAM: 2GB (minimum) 4GB (recommended)
Disk: 12GB of free space
DirectX: Dx9
Actually, the RAM requirements are still pretty high, but most modern PC’s come with 4GB RAM nowadays anyway. Is your PC ready for Crysis 2 yet? If you are among the first 5 to let us know your system specs you will get the Crysis Windows 7 Theme send right to your e-mail inbox.

You’ll be able to play Crysis 2 in medium quality. I would not recommend to enable AA, AF (anti aliasing, anisotropic filtering) you might need a better graphic card for that, other than that CPU and RAM are perfect.
I’m ready, litterally can’t wait
Are those recommended requirements? as they are too high for minimum,
if so the DirectX version should be Dx10
Well I guess it should work fine in my System:
