So, make sure to head over to mycrysis.com and join the site to possibly get a spot in the beta.Considering that the Medal of Honor multiplayer beta is already in a 2nd phase and the game has a similar release date like Crysis 2 (Medal of Honor will be released on October 12th, 2010) we can expect that there will news about a Crysis 2 multiplayer beta very soon, possibly at the GC 2010.

It’s also a mandatory that there will be a pre-order bonus that allows you to join the multiplayer beta. You can already pre-order the Crysis 2 collector’s edition.

Crysis 2 multiplayer beta platforms

So far Crytek haven’t revealed the platforms of the multiplayer beta. They are trying to give you the same gaming experience on all platforms (XBOX360, PS3 and PC). However, they also said that they can push the limits of their CryEngine a lot further on PC.

Crysis 2 (multiplayer) will look best on PC

A 3.2 GHz CPU, 256MB RAM and a 550Mhz GPU clock speed (PS3 hardware specs) are simply hardware specs of the past! How could it come even close to the PC? I for sure know what my favorite gaming platform would be! Also, if they don’t release a multiplayer beta for one of the platforms it will surely be the PS3 or the XBOX360. Crysis 1 was relesed for PC only.
