Create Custom Characters in Windows 7

Did you know that you can create custom characters in Windows 7? If you have a special sign that means a lot to you, you can create it in the private character editor of Windows 7 and add it to each font on your system.

Create Custom Characters

Click on “Start” and enter eudcedit to start the private character editor. You can then draw your character, using the tools on the left. I tried to draw a Japanese sign, but I’m not very good at it:

When you click on “File” – “Font Links” you can link the character with all or just one font on your system.
