It might sound like a bad April Fool’s joke, but it’s not. Some people have problems with a huge Windows 7 cursor appearing on their desktop. As long as you are not above 50, this might be a bit annoying, although it’s quite funny. Luckily, there’s a quick solution for this problem.

A new Microsoft patent targets overweight gamers. The idea behind the patent is that gamers who don’t fulfill certain health requirements should play less and improve their health instead. Of course, it’s just a patent, but the idea is pretty scary if they extend it to other areas as well. Welcome to the future?!

Ok, let’s do a recap: Windows 7 broke all sales records on Amazon and Microsoft reported that they sold the most copies ever in one quarter.

Pirated Windows 7 is a big hit

Software pirates in China realized that there is a great demand for a copy of Windows 7 on an USB stick.
Especially, netbook users have been looking for ways to install Windows 7 from an USB or flash drive rather than from DVD.

Microsoft considered this option, but they did not act!

Finally, Microsoft is competing with Google in other areas: Bing Maps is Microsoft’s newest clue. Bing has been a great success so far, so it was only logical to work on new features. They will probably also work on more new tools like “Bing Products”.

Many XP, Vista and Windows 7 users reported a Black Screen of Death (BSOD) after installing the latest Microsoft updates.
Prevx, a provider of antimalware, has released a fix for this BSOD.
