Call of Duty MW 3: Slightly Higher Requirements Than MW2
Before we speculate about the Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 system requirements, let’s take a look at the system requirements of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2:
CPU: Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHz / Athlon 64 X2 4400+
Grahpic: Geforece 8800+ / Radeon X1800 Series
RAM: 2GB+ (4GB rec.)
DirectX: 9
Now, let’s speculate. Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 probably needs a bit more CPU power, possibly a Athlon 64 5000+ and a Core 2 Duo with 2.6 GHz. However, if you take a look at the system requirements of DiRT 3, you’ll see that a 2011 game can easily have higher recommended system requirements: Phenom X4 / Core i5 is recommended for DiRT 3.
Graphic card requirements will also be higher, possibly a graphic card with at least 512MB RAM. Radeon HD 5670 and higher. Also, I have my doubts that Modern Warfare 3 will run lag-free with 2GB RAM. 4GB is recommended nowadays, especially if you run Windows 7 64-bit.

listen man…a can run mafia 2 on my pc with 2.41 ghz amd athlon le-1620..2 gb ram and 1024 mb graphic card radeon x1300…a run every game on my computer without big lags,bugs and other…you can raun this game without lags,bugs and other…trust me..and buy the game….

First of all don’t compare Dirt 3 to MW3 , different engines , genres etc . Second of all I buied and played MW2 with 2 gb of ram with an AMD 64 4600+ with an 8600 GT on Medium High .
The engine has slighlty modifications and is belive it or not different from the World at War or Black Ops .
So fear not dear players , I tried to run BF2 with my old PC and I couldn’t do jack shit , I like MW2 because twicked a little can run on a shitty rig like a charm , I am not interested in destructible enviroments .. rais of sun coming down on my characters face … I want to get a gun and pawn some friends . Buy the game and see you online !
