Buy Windows 7 ?
Microsoft is going to sell Windows 7 in late 2009. According to ZDnet it’s the 23rd of October. The vice-president of Acer told David Meyer (from ZDnet) that their new “All-in-one” PC would go on sale on that day – including Windows 7.
Many people who want to buy Windows 7 are sick of Vista or hope for a better Windows than XP.
Systems (running Windows Vista or Windows XP) that are purchased between June 2009 and January 2010 will have an optional Windows 7 upgrade. Therefore, you can buy Windows Vista next month and you won’t have to buy Windows 7.
It might be wise to buy Vista next month and upgrade during the (slow) summer months in preparation for Windows 7. Upgrading from XP to Windows 7 won’t be totally hassle-free. Upgrading from Vista to Windows 7 will be hassle-free!
So, make a choice. Read through this blog and you might find out if it’s a good idea to buy Windows 7 or not.
