Breaking: Gears of War 3 Release Date Delayed! (Late 2011)
Oh noes! I hate it to give you bad news, but unfortunately Microsoft’s upcoming shooter (no, not Halo 5) Gears of War 3 will NOT be released on April 5th as we reported.

A Microsoft spokesperson stated:
“Gears of War 3 promises to be the biggest entertainment launch of 2011. The teams at Microsoft Game Studios and Epic Games have done great work thus far readying the title for release in the Spring of 2011. However, we’ve elected to move the launch of Gears of War 3 until fall 2011 to make it the marquee title for the holiday season
Waiting for perfection…
Gears of War 3 requires some more polishing and Microsoft want to get it right. If you have ever been waiting for any Blizzard game you know the drill .. when it’s done it’s done. Well, who doesn’t want to wait for reflection perfection? If we get a decent four-player coop campaign, then I’m all for waiting!
