Breaking: Crysis 2 Release Date Pushed Back to 2011?
According to EA’s latest financial report, Crysis 2 might not be coming until 2011. Previously, we reported that the release date for Crysis 2 was planned for Q4 2010.
As of right now, it looks like Crysis 2 will be coming out in March 2011 (confirmed release date January – April 2011) and not shortly after Call of Duty Black Ops. Crysis 2 will then be released along with other top games like Dragon Age 2, Dead Space 2, Need for Speed Shift 2, The Sims Medieval and Darkspre.
If you stumble on EA’s financial report, don’t be confused why it is listed under Q4. A fiscal/financial year can differ from the actual year. EA’s fiscal year ends in April, so Q4 means (January-April 2011).
