All versions of Windows, thankfully come with the option of creating a recovery disc so that the OS can be restored in case it gets corrupted, or damaged via malware, trojans and/or viruses. Recovery Disk is a very important feature of Windows 8 Consumer Preview, which allows you to create a custom recovery disk to restore your Windows in case something goes wrong.
Here is a simple method on how to create a system repair disc for Windows 8:
1. Go to Control Panel
2. Click Windows 7 File Recovery
3. Click Create a System repair disc
4. Click Create Disc when you have selected the Drive.
5. In the next process, you would see the system generating the disc for you. This would only be possible if you have inserted a blank new CD or DVD in your DVD drive so that the creation of disc is successful.
