About Battlestar Galactica:
Only recently by coincidence I stumbled onto Battlestar Galactica and would call myself a fan of the series by now. If you haven’t seen Battlestar Galactica yet and you like a mixture of action, space adventure, politics, romance and some really conflicting characters, this might be worth a glance. The new series (2004-2009) is based on the series from the 70′s. If you are interested in purchasing season 1, you should be aware that there is a preceding mini-series that you’ll need to watch to understand season 1, it’s basically the pilot.
About Battlestar Galactica Online:
Yes, BSGO will include PvP, PvE and mining operatings, so there’s something for everyone. There’s not much information, so we don’t know yet weather PvP will be really dynamic as we know it from games like Freelancer or more static like in Eve Online.

Normally, closed beta tests take a while, but according to Kotaku Bigpoint is planning to launch the open beta of Battlestar Galactica Online in December!
