A new trailer from the Gamescom 2011 shows more Battlefield 3 gameplay, including the flight gameplay.

All in all, Battlefield 3 looks like really fast-paced action game. The 64-player mode looks pretty awesome and the jet gameplay seems to be a lot of fun.
