Bioware is not only very enthusiastic about SWTOR, they also make smart decisions. One of their latest decision is to introduce 4 different server types to attract a very large user base.

We’re all different and looking for different things in games. Some people like to compete, others like to do role-playing or simply grind and do raids.

If you want to join the action of SWTOR, you will first have to make a decision what you are actually looking for?

• Want to compete with others? Join the PvP servers
• Want to grind/raid and occassionally try PvP? Join the PvE server
• Want to do role-playing but avoid PvP? Join the RP-PvE server
• Want to do role-playing but you’re confident enough for some fast paced PvP? Joinb the RP-PvP server

It will be interesting to see the server load on all servers. I predict that the PvP server will be pretty crowded, but one can never underestimate the zerg of carebears who only want to grind (no offense if you prefer PvE)
