Concave 7 is one of my favorite dark Windows 7 themes. It’s a very elegant and minimalistic theme, one of the best! I love it:

Careful – a toxic combination: This Windows 7 premium theme combines a light green with a dark black. Well, this combination worked in The Matrix, so why shouldn’t it work for a desktop themes? Exactly, if you can stand the colors then this is the perfect custom theme for you:

This theme is not a full dark theme as it also includes a white inner browser shell. The buttons are rather large. If you don’t like thin, elegant Windows 7 themes and want something that resembles the look of Vista, go for this theme.
Black and red usually go well together. The color also also work great in this custom Windows 7 theme. Definitely one of the best darkish custom themes I’ve seen lately.

A theme with some VERY large borders. If you want large borders in Windows 7, this is for you. Clearly, not one of my favorites, but not everyone likes thin borders, so I’m including this one as well. Maybe not one of the best dark themes, but that obviously depends on YOUR taste.

i like very much these themes
Hello, thank you very much for these great themes, i’ve always been searching for these dark/grey theme, not only because they are much cooler than the standard white windows but because they don’t bother my eyes when working on the PC at night.
the process is little tricky and will you make it clear to proceed the process
the process is so hard only few of the themes work.

Colorful Odyssey and Black Midnight have broken Links. Well I made some choices and downloaded some themes but not of the ones which i downloaded until now worked. Can Someone or the webmaster(no offence)
send me a proper link to install Colorful Odyssey and, if possible, a guide on how to install it properly and switch back to default win 7 aero themes when needed. I’ve already patched using Universal Theme pacther.
GRR odyssey 2011 link is a broken deviantARTs link…and the mirror takes u to the Xenomorph mirrow…please fix this, odyssey looks like an awesome theme and cant wait to try it on :)

The odyssey 2011 theme can be downloaded from the DeviantArt profile and I will not post a mirror link because the author does not want it
@Dian and others who have problems installing Windows 7 themes, please read our many tutorials. Search for “how to replace”
In the Toxic Resource folder there are files like shell32.dll.res – I’m not sure but .res is the ResourceHacker extension, which means you would have to check them with that program first to create the DLL files. We have various ResourceHacker tutorials on the site

i tried to install the xenomorph theme by the mirror link and it says that windows cannot open folder xenomorph.zip is invalid

Xeno, did you read our tutorials on the subject? Some themes may now support 64-bit systems or failed to include critical system files, keep all of that in mind
